Power supply shot on the reader I got for my daughter for Christmas by Dec 28th.
Only help on the website is “Use fresh non-rechargeable batteries” but that didn’t work.
I give it a 5 for educational value based on its potential, not on actual results.
I bought this toy for my daughters’ birthdays – turning 2 and 4. They both love it!! Obviously, the 4 yr old can do more with it, but they both love it! It is totally worth the buy, including how expensive the books are. I think it will be great for a few years.
I was a bit worried when we bought this as I was concerned it would not be used or it might be used as a game instead of an educational toy to help with reading. I had nothing to worry about! This was bought for my daughter who is 5 for her bday and both my 3 year old son and her always fighting for it! It’s definitely worth the money and I have ALWAYS enjoyed leapfrog toys. We have most of them!!!
It not only can be used to help with reading but also has audio so the child can hit a “button” on the page and it reads the page for you. Also, you can use the Tag Pen to select the pictures on the page and they all say something. Pretty neat tool!!
I got this for my 2 1/2 year old daughter and she loves it. My 4 year old son has this also and loved it and she wanted to play with it all of the time so we got her one.
Great educational gift. Nothing in the market compares so far. Easy to download stories, and easy for Preschooler to use.
