Probably because he “loves” animals. Who doesn’t want to help when an animal is in trouble? Theres an animal in trouble somewhere.

Because they are entertaining..the same reason some people watch reality shows and other things that doesn’t help them in any way shape or form….just because!

a man who doesn’t want to grow up. it’s so simple and all the previous answers before mine prove it lol! at least some of them have children to blame! ~my husband included. there is nothing more hilarious than a grown bear of a man singing to a 3 year old at the dinner table: “the carrots want to go to the party in your tummy!!” and then “i tried it, and now i like it!”
it’s an effective song by the way, my kids love their veggies now!
Some guys really need to get out more.
