In the fam. room we have a huge gated playpin for my baby brother.
His toys are scattered everywhere, but he only stays near the gate. Why?
Is he still getting used to this, because it’s new?
Any way to get him more comfy without anyone going in there?

He’s crawling to where the people might most likely come back to. He just wants attention from someone and not to be left alone… that’s all. Hate to say it, but dogs and cats do the same thing.
