Well I think that my parents are bad parents but give me your opinion. I don’t think Ive ever gotten a gift over 30 dollars that i didn’t have to pitch in money besides baby toys. My parents make me walk to school every day even if its raining cats and dogs. They yell at me for breaking my foot from jumping because I won’t be able to carry my luggage when we go to hawaii. I keep telling them that me not being able to do anything in hawaii is worst for me but they keep complaining that they had to take me to the doctors and hospital. Also, my dad bought my brothers computer from him to give to me for 200 dollars. Now hes charging me 100. I have to save up for everything I get. And my parents make about 100,000 combined in a year and I barely get some presents. They make me clean the house and It’s always a mess. They were also making me do the dishes on crutches. My dad never wants to do anything with me because it costs money. Hes also consantly yelling at me and sometimes hitting me.

Alright, not trying to make you mad, but you asked for my opinion. Yes your parents sounds like bad parents. But not because they dont buy you stuff all the time, but the thing about you breaking your foot and buying your brothers computer for you then making you pay, and the fact that your dad hits you. Just because your parents dont buy you stuff all the time doesnt make them bad parents, so dont think that. And you cleaning the house is good once in a while. Kids need chores. But for them to always make you do it and for them to not help at all isnt very nice of them. And doing the dishes on crutches isnt nice cuz thats really hard, Ive tried that before…
i don’t agree with you being hit but i think they are showing you the value of money, there teaching you to be independent, you’ll be thanking them when your an adult.
sounds to me like they’re trying to raise a responsible child. i don’t agree with hitting, but i wonder if you’re embellishing a bit. if he hits, he’s wrong.

Yes, your parents are definitely bad parents. They exhibit several behavior patterns which have been handed down from generation to generation. Your focus on money is a result of your parents focus on money and has been handed down for many generations. This will continue to haunt you for the rest of your days and you will have no choice but to pass it on to your children if you are foolish enough to have kids. As I urge all abused children; If nothing else, make sure that you do not pass on these behavior patterns to other unsuspecting fools. Do not have kids. It is all too likely that you will continue the behavior pattern or substitute something worse.
The fact that your parents yell at you and hit you is another set of behavior patterns. Does one do more than the other? You will have no choice but to repeat these patterns with your kids as well. You see, that’s all that your parents are doing with you. They are simply repeating what was done to them because they know no better. HAVE NO KIDS!!
